About Our Choir

 Wakefield Festival Chorus is well known in the city for its accomplished performances. We are a medium-sized mixed-voice choir, and we sing everything  from large scale classical works to songs from the shows. We enjoy working with other musical groups such as school choirs and  other choral societies.  
We always welcome new singers.  The ability to sight read is useful but not essential.  No audition is required. 

The choir rehearses on Tuesdays at 7.00 - 9.00pm at Trinity Methodist Church, Norton Road, Wakefield WF1 4LH.  The church is at the junction of Stanley Road and Jacobs Well Lane, next to the Ambulance Training building.  Parking is available next to the church and on Eastmoor Road.
